- This will allow us to remove the code needed for force upgrading. Upgrade code
can be dropped after a while.
- This will ensure that all our users have a single configuration format which
will make future testing easier.
- We can notify the users of a single overwrite now and be assured that in
future, the overwrites of configuration will not happen.
- We don't have to monitor for changes to configuration files in future version
of the package.
- Keep old configuration as a backup file and restore a pristine copy with
--reinstall and --force-confmiss.
Tests:
- Install the app freshly. Configuration file is unchanged, new config snippets
are created. App is running.
- Install the app with code before new configuration changes. Notice that old
configuration format is used. Then switch the code to a branch with current
changes. Setup is automatically executed. The package is reinstalled. After
re-installation, the main config file is restored. Configuration snippets exist.

previous configuration contents.

- Start showing port ranges properly.
- Fixes issue with Coturn TURN relay ports not being shown.
Closes: #1851.
Tests:
- Visit each of affected apps and see the port forwarding information. The
information is same as before.
- HTTP and HTTPS ports are not shown.
- Coturn app shows additional port ranges for TURN relay ports.
- Shadowsocks app does not show port forwarding information as it is internal
only.
- Visit one of the apps not effected by the patch. There is no section related
to port forwarding.

- Comparison of dependencies of Debian packages for versions 1.13.0 and 1.15.0
show that there no new dependencies and no increase in version requirements for
dependencies. Hence changes to backports pin priorities is not needed.
Tests executed:
- Install older version of matrix-synapse. Run unattended upgrades. It will
refuse to upgrade matrix-synapse.
- Run freedombox, and run apt update, the upgrade for matrix-synapse is
performed by freedombox. The setting for MAM is kept during the upgrade.

- Add pytest hooks to ignore all functional tests if pytest_bdd is not
installed.
- Update pytest hooks to skip tests in file named 'test_functional.py' if
--include-functional argument is not provided.
- Move functional_tests/install.py into plinth/tests/functional and update
reference in Vagrantfile.
- Move scenario files into individual app folders. Rename them after the app
they are testing. Merge TODO items listed in todo.org into corresponding feature
files.
- Add test_functional.py in each app to build tests from the features file using
pytest_bdd.
- Move all step_definitions, support and data into plinth/tests/functional/.
Include all step_definitions from conftest.py. Update to relative imports
instead of absolute imports.
Tests performed:
- Run py.test-3 --collect-only shows all functional tests and lists 574 tests.
No errors show that name of feature files are correct. The number says that all
functional test features are included.
- Remove pytest_bdd (or modify the import name) and run py.test-3 --collect-only
skips collecting all functional tests and shows only 300+ tests.
- Run functional tests for a few apps with py.test-3 --include-functional -m
app. For storage, deluge.
- Run unit tests with py.test-3. Functional tests are listed by skipped.

This reverts the additional changes done in merge request !1540 and sets the
configuration to what was originally proposed in the merge request.
- AllowEncodedSlashes can't be set inside <Location> directive. It needs to be
set inside VirtualHost directive making it apply for the entire site. In case
of FreedomBox, this needs to be set globally. It may have implications for how
we are encoding slashes in URLs include for storage module. It could cause
unexpected regressions elsewhere.
- ProxyPass directory should have only argument inside a <Location> directive.
Fix that too.

Matrix requires valid certificates for federation with other servers from
version 1.0 onward. If the FreedomBox server already has LE cert and private
key, copy them into /etc/matrix-synapse
- Add certificate renewal hooks for Matrix Synapse. Reusing the certificate
renewal mechanism built for ejabberd with matrix-synapse as well. One notable
difference is that Matrix Synapse doesn't support switching the domain name or
dropping the Let's Encrypt certificate.
- Use self-signed certificate if there is no LE certificate. Matrix Synapse
server startup fails if the files homeserver.tls.crt and homeserver.tls.key
are missing.
- Copy Apache's snakeoil certificates to /etc/matrix-synapse when LE
certificates are not available. Prefer LE certificates if available.
- Display warning if no valid LE certificate is found.
