Como tal, proporciona servicios muy rápidos, respaldos fáciles y enlaces de importación/exportación en forma de mrgapáginas para navegadores de escritorio o móviles. Los enlaces se pueden almacenar públicos o privados. Shaarli produce feeds ATOM y RSS desde su interfaz minimalista.
